"...Tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the
sign of thy coming and of the end of the world?” (Matt. 24:3).
[Two Greek words are used in the New Testament for world: Kosmos
and Aion. Kosmos means material world and Aion means era
or age. Aion is used each time. Christ is thus referring to the end
of an age or dispensation, and not a physical world—newer Bibles
